This photo looks west from the main studio area into the kiva library. Notice that on the left side of the photo the pass-through wall height is complete; but the right side is not. This is for practical reasons: If the right-side pass-though wall was completed, I would not be able to get a wheelbarrow through!Also, from the top of the photo, you can see the earth that the structure will be bearmed against. The stem wall on the west side of this room will need to rise at least 12-18" above the berm, before it is complete.
