Both placement of the clay screening area and the mixer were considered in relation to the distance the wheel barrow loaded with 'cob' would need to be hauled to the wall locations. Some readers of this blog may object to the use of a gasoline powered machine in the construction of a 'natural' building. I can appreciate that thinking. From my perspective, the machine will assist in getting the building done and put to productive use sooner. Especially since this building will be my office and creative project space. Nothing can be more important for me now, then that space.
