The photo below shows a portion of the bermed west wall above ground level. The wall height at this section of the building is nearing completion. The glass block window allows afternoon light to enter a 'mirrored' rectangular chamber in the 2-foot thick wall before stiking a translucent
Honeycomb Calcite stone positioned on the inside wall (see other photos below).
The photo to the left shows the
Honeycomb Calcite stone in the interior of the 10-foot diameter "Kiva" room of the studio.
A close-up photo (right) reveals the beautiful orange-yellow color of the stone. Once the room is completed, light entering from the western sky will illuminate the stone to produce a striking glow in the room.

Wow Bart! It's really taking shape! Great job and keep up the great work. I want to be one of the first people to rent this out to edit!
I have seen many, and build a few, cob structures. Yours is one of the most inspiring. I have not built with cob for a few years, since leaving my cob home in Oregon in 2001. Your work is has given me the encouragement to get back in the mud.
