The photo shows progress after a couple of months of work. Summer heat and monsoon rains effected productivity for obvious reasons. If you look closely at the ground in the photo you can see the ground in and around the studio with a layer of gravel. In order that I could work after rainstorms without my feet getting stuck in the clay mud. I made six trips to a nearby dry-wash and filled the bed of my truck gray-colored gravel.
With regards to the summer heat, there was nothing I could do about that :)
